China recognizes the work of Fagor Arrasate, Kushhan awards an honorary citizenship to its manager

The city of Kunshan, China, has awarded the manager of the local Fagor Arrasate plant, Jon Agirre, honorary citizenship, in recognition of the company’s track record and its contribution to local development.
“This honour is a recognition of the successful track record over these 10 years in Kunshan. For Fagor Arrasate, the future cannot be understood without China and to have an important production plant in the country forms an essential part of the company’s international strategy. For this reason, we are continuing to commit to Kunshan, with investment, technological development and the generation of wealth in the area”, said Agirre.
He gratefully accepted the honour for the recognition and showed his gratitude to the people of Kunshan for the warm welcome that they offer to foreigners and to the local government for their support and involvement in promoting investment and development.
This year, 2018, the Fagor Arrasate plant in Kunshan, in the province of Jiangsu, commemorated its 10th anniversary, a decade characterized by growth and diversification of production, expansion into new markets and high levels of customer satisfaction as an integral part in Fagor Arrasate’s global business expansion.
